About Us

I got my first Dalmatian in 1992 and that was it for me, love at first sight.

This was not my first experience with dogs though as I have been blessed enough to be able to have experience with a diverse range of breeds from a relatively young age

These included a Shepherd cross "Pepper" who was our first family dog, she was great taught me that I really loved dogs. The next "1 Week after Peps passing" was a stray cross breed pup "Domino" that I brought home and although mum said he was going back "down the coast where I found him half staved at about 7 weeks old" he never did and became my faithful companion who lived till a ripe old age of 14 years.

While we had Domino I was training my Aunties German Shepherd "Raggs" "Hasseldorf Raggamuffin" in obedience and in the QLD Pal Superdogs. We were members of the Qld Pal Superdogs for a number of years untill he was retired. So off to find a new Superdog enter Bart "Beechwood Black Bart," my show ring reject Shetland Sheepdog he was an interesting dog 1 ½ years old and hated kids; mind you I was only a skinny 14 year old at the time and very much a kid.

We sorted out our differences and were a great team until his retirement. With the Superdog team still going strong and Barty not at his best I thought it was time to find an agile replacement. (As there was only a limited number of 14 people on the team most would have the replacements trained to take over when the oldies retired) This was what I was after.

Along came Echo or "Paceaway Sure Echo" as he was also known. He was a perfect replacement and did his share of performances until the Team stopped performing in early 2000. He was a full on dog at a young age and as showing was not our priority we tried obedience, will little success.

When I lost both Domino and Bart to cancer I lived with Echo as an only child and tried agility competitions as he had proved he was an excellent jumper. But unfortunately as his body aged he was not able to continue to compete in the jumping arena and missed out on getting his title.

He is now deceased and will be sadly missed.

RIP "ECHO" 9TH OCTOBER 2006

In 2001 I decided to get a new companion to ease the pain when Echo goes. The choice was easy another Dalmatian of course. Although I was looking for a black spot girl I found a wonderfull Boy, enter Rambo "Ch Pokadot New Sensation ADX JDX" my 1st real show dog, and this was the main reason that I got him. I felt it was time to try my hand at the conformation show ring. He is a lovely liver boy who has turned into a very clever athletic boy and a delightfull member of my family.

Rambo can be seen going though his paces in either the conformation or the agility competition rings. Having such a nice boy I decided it would be time to breed my own litter and this is how Jade "Ch Throdice In Fashion" came to our kennel as our foundation bitch.

She is a lovely type of bitch who produced a winning litter in June 2006. Jade has so far proved herself in the show ring winning top prizes in both the Dalmatian Specialty show and All Breeds arenas, showing a promising future at a young age. We are expecting her 2nd litter Feb 2009. For pictures just check out our litter's page.

We are members of the Canine Control Council of Qld, Dalmatian Association of Qld inc., and Qld Agility and Jumping Dog Club inc.
